Description: Brown University’s Inman Page Black Alumni Council (IPC), the New York Chapter of IPC and the Alumni of Color Initiative invite you to a Celebration of Brown University President Ruth J. Simmons.

The event will begin at 5:30pm with a light reception on the second floor of the Schomburg Center. The program will begin at 7:00pm in the auditorium. President’s remarks will be followed by a Q&A session.

Attendees are encouraged to reconvene after the event at Harlem Tavern, 2153 Frederick Douglass Boulevard (at 116th Street).
